Disappointed in the tone????

Really?

REALLY???

You're going to GO there? The party who's "tone" the past year has been completely confrontational?

The party who embraced the birthers?

The party who created the teabag "movement" as their latest variation of the "southern strategy"?

The party who has spent a year calling Obama a socialist, communist, and nazi?

The party whose recent Vice President has been criticizing this President's foreign policy in the harshest terms?

You're going to chastize this President on his fucking tone?

Fuck you.

1. They're all taking cues from the Palin playbook...
...attack your opponent on a personal level until you're blue in the face, then curl up into a ball and play the self-righteous victim when you receive criticism of your own.

Somehow it doesn't work as well when you're a fat, old, pasty white guy.

3. I think you pretty much
nailed it.

They're concerned about tone?

Shit that reminds me so much of the kind of reaction my teen aged sons gave me back when they got called out for doing something off limits. "What's with the tone, Mom?"

THis isn't high school and the Republicans need to grow up and stop throwing attitude when they aren't getting their own way.

5. The only drum the GOP beats is to say no and run down anything a democrat says.
They don't give a damn about the people and refuse to treat the current multi headed crisis like a crisis. They drove the country down and continue to want to blame it on democrats.

9. You can tell your opponents have no argument whatsoever
when all they can bitch about is your tone. If they had anything better they'd put it out there. They don't, so all they can do is scream "Meanie!" a lot.

Fuck ém. I liked his tone and I wish he'd been nastier to them.

Tone deaf for eight years, but now the are experts on hearing what they want to hear.

Edit...Maybe Rahm should have made a couple of fake Terra Lerts before the speech so the pubs would have felt more at home in the "Homeland" Oh how they miss pussadent Bush.
