Flying...terrorist watch list and whatnot

OK, So I might be flying in a couple weeks fo rthe first time since after 9/11. Philly to Chicago.

What I'm wondering is.....I know ordinary people have ended up no-fly lists for reasons that they can't be told. What is the latest on this? Is the fascism being rolled back(I doubt it). Also, if you do get that kind of luck....is your ticket refundable? And to those who have managed to fly recently....is the man with the rubber glove gentle? Should I worry? I haven't done anything wrong, but I know that isn't enough for these goons....and I do have an eastern european last name. I dunno. What's the deal?

1. I've not flown either

my husband and I have been members of environmental groups and we're Muslims, so we figure we'd get a double whammy if we tried. I'll be checking back to see what the answers to your questions are, as I'm interested in finding out, too.
