I've meant to say this for a while: I think Nancy Pelosi is doing a damned good job
and her job ain't easy. I know Pelosi is none too popular here, but I think she deserves some credit. quite a bit of credit.

1. well
. . . what the Senate does with legislation gives us an appreciation for what the House produces. It's usually that way when our party is in control of the House.

2. She's Gotten Short Shrift...
Many here love to dump on the Speaker without a close look at the work she's been able to get through the House...much of it ending up stalled in a dysfuncational Senate. There's resentment that she didn't impeach (or try) since she knew she didn't have the votes and its clouded the many good things she's been able to get passed. I'm proud of the job she's done and join you in saying she's done a damn good job.

Cheers...

10. her stand on impeachment brought
about a lot of anger...I'm sure it still does. But Nancy is a good politician and her domestic agenda is more to my liking than say, Blanche Lincoln who is my state senator.

3. If she had a house whip who has backbone, she would have a lot more accomplishments and
an easier time of it. Hoyer is a bit like Reid.

21. I never thought of it like that before
and I'm surprised. Very true. Hoyer is lackluster and milque toast, just like Reid.

7. when you have Reid and Obama being colossal cowards
it makes anyone with the hint of courage look like a great leader in contrast.

8. I Agree...
I think that under the circumstances that she has has to deal with she has done a very credible job if not in fact and excellent one. I was not a fan of hers for quite a while but I have gain respect for her. Now if we only had her in the Senate.

9. When you compare her to her counterpart in the Senate,
she wins hands down.

I got to meet her daughter Christine when she was promoting Boot Camp, and Christine is just a sharp as her mom.
