Is there anything that Bush could do that would truly shock you? Is there anything he could do that you wouldn't believe him capable? For instance... if the New York Times provided photo evidence of Bush feasting on Iraqi babies would you...
a) ...react in disbelief because you never in a million years imagined he was that fucking nuts?
or would you...
b) ...shrug and say, "I'm not shocked... that sick fucker."?
Now, eating babies may be a bit too far removed from reality (though I wouldn't put is past him), if he say... hit Iran with a nuke or ordered the butchering of 10 to 20 thousand people in Baghdad... would that shock you? Would you believe that be out of the realm of something he would do? Most likely, many here wouldn't be incredulous if we learned Bush nuked or massacred so I'll set this at the left hand side of the spectrum. I would hope a large majority of people wouldn't believe he truly eats babies so I'll set this at the right hand of the spectrum.
Nukes & Massacres --------------------------- Eats Babies
Somewhere in between these two horrors is a point that he can reach that where you would start to feel incredulous. Where does your point begin?... and list the examples.
Is it somewhere between holding cigar sessions with Jeff Gannon and devising an elaborate scheme to siphon off billions of dollars of Iraqi oil money?
Is it closer to deliberately ignoring 9/11 warnings (or worse) in order to start wars around the world and that's nestled between his air national guard service and selling out America to set up a new corporate government of the world?
Where is your point... what could he do that would shock you?
The only reason I mention this... well, actually two reasons... the first is... this psychopath is the President of the United States. That to me is a very frightening concept. I see George, not as a Man but as some sort of freakish force of nature like an enraged hurricane feasting from a raging inferno of American power. I have no idea what that lunatic is capable of doing and there's very little that I'd put past him. I believe he truly is a sad epitaph for the parable of America. With that said... the second reason I mention this is... I am going to D.C. this Saturday to stand in a crowd of strangers, one man among a million angels to voice my protest... to beseech those men and women of reason and wisdom to remove this monster from our midst. I've never been to a rally of this nature and I don't know anyone whose going to be there... and I don't know how much good it will do... but I'm going to D.C. on the 27th... enough already... enough. I'd of course love to see you there... to see one hundred thousand DU shirts littered among the throngs would make me feel as though I was with my countrymen... but even if I don't see you there... I'll still be there... with a vain hope.
