What's a U.S. senator to do after a visit from a man known for planting hidden cameras?

Sweep the place for bugs, cameras, and any other listening devices, of course.

A spokesman for Sen. Mary Landrieu, who sits on the Homeland Security Committee, confirms to TPMmuckraker that her office in downtown New Orleans was swept after filmmaker James O'Keefe and two companions showed up to allegedly tamper with the phones Monday.

2. Why is he referred to as a 'film-maker'. He is NOT a film-maker.

What 'films' has he made? He has illegally recorded, on video-tape, people, mostly those who either are minorities themselves, or who work in fields where poor people and minorities receive services.

His 'material' has always been racially tinged. As if he cannot think of anything else. In college he was accused of being a racist not to mention also accused of being unethical.

He makes videos with the intention of harming people for political and I believe, racist reasons. He then takes them home and heavily edits them to try to make them portray what he wants them to portray.

He was a student of Morton Blackwell who teaches Conservatives that ethics are not important and lies and voter suppression to achieve the goal of turning this country into a faschist state, are okay. He was a perfect student, having zero ethics and being clearly filled with hatred for his fellow Americans.

The only reason his botched and very poor quality videos, NOT films, made it to national television is because of Morton Blackwells ties to the rest of the Republican Noise Machine.

O'Keefe is many things, but he is NOT by any stretch of the imagination, a 'film-maker'. I would give a whole lot of everything I have, for an ethical and truthful media.

"dumb" to what they already are. Do you really think bush was wiretapping phones for "security". Heck no he was tapping Democrats and organizations that had came out with anything negative about his administration.

The republicans didn't fool anybody but the Democratic congress members that they were spying on.
