I read this
blog on a conservative website. It seems the blogger uses an heavy appeal to emotion and some of the comments engage in heavy reliance on redbaiting.
The blogger does not use reason or logic to foward his point. I have seen some liberterian blogs that well written and advance their point very well.
It seems that Teabaggers are group that relies on emotion. Corporations use appeal to emotions when they advertise a product. It seems that unions and other programs are "communist" and that they are bad.
In reality, their emotion drives them to illogical conclusions. They side with people that do not serve their interests. They believe that not being union provides them with "economic freedom" but in reality, that "economic freedom" is a myth.
Maybe, the Tea-baggers are really that gullible and bought into lie. And they rely on emotion and that emotion makes them loud and draws attention. Therefore, the media listen to their emotional rants and raves and thinks there is a great angry mob. Their movement is really grassroots but it is foundation is based on bunch of illogical emotion and misconceptions about the idea of "economic freedom". For some members of the Tea Baggers, their anger borders an alcoholic resentment that only spirituality can solve like teaching the group the concept of unconditional love. If I catch one of these guys in the rooms of AA and they become my sponsee, I will turn them from an angry teabagger into progressive blue person that becomes a Burner.
In conclusion, the tea-baggers rely too heavily on appeal to emotion and have misguided anger that does little to solve their own problems. Instead of reading Glenn Beck's latest books, maybe they need to read Howard's Zinn - "People History of the United State".
