this story won't end. Look at all the reprehensible republicans and their sexcapades and not a damn word in the MSM> Newt is living it high on the hog. HE DIVORCED HIS WIFE WHO HAD CANCER, refused to pay her alimony for his kid. He went off and married a much younger woman. All was forgiven and there was hardly a mention in the news about it. 9. I made a tape of him speaking on his need to defend marriage

and how he has deeply rooted traditional views of marriage as being for One Man and One Woman, due to his Southern Baptist upbringing and his Deacon father, and how the need to uphold the Sacrament of marriage meant he simply could not support equal rights for those who 'sin' in the eyes of his church. He said those views were 'simply a part of me' that can not be changed. He even mentioned being 53, too old to evolve, set in his old fashioned marriage and wanting to defend that sacred bond.
It is a great tape. Liz stands there mentally counting money and silently helping him lie about himself and slander millions of good families. She nods about his 'values' and 'one man one woman'. It is thick and rich and chocolaty. If it were intentional satire it could not be better.
It would make a good dual screen video, John and Liz opposing equality in the name of Baptist marriage on half the screen, the other half John and Not Liz making the beast o' two backs. We'd call it "One Man, One Woman, And So On-Portrait of a Defender of Marriage"
