I agree with Obama that the way to get most Americans to support a clean energy effort ...
...is to appeal to their ego.

I don't think "we should have clean energy because then we would be damaging the environment less" will
work nearly as good as "we should have clean energy because the Chinese and Russians are trying to get it too, so we want it first just out of
principle"

Whatever gets the job done is fine with me :)

1. Jobs
Clean energy means jobs. That's the slogan.

"Clean energy, the job source for the new millennium."

"Clean energy. The high tech, high paying jobs of the future."

Locally, for a community trying to recover economically, it is "We want to be the Silicon Valley of Clean Energy!"
