Most bizarre interpretation of Avatar: And the winner is......
a batshit crazy (what else would he be?) freeper who goes by the moniker pinochet:

Why "Avatar" Movie Is A Rejection Of Illegal Immigration And Multiculturalism.

Posted on Friday, January 29, 2010 10:51:12 AM by pinochet

Conservative critics of the movie "Avatar", have focused so much on the race of the characters of the movie, but have ignored the universal themes of the movie that are applicable to all societies, including America.

The movie was about patriots from the Na'vi people, who were determined to defend their culture, heritage, values, language, religion, and territory. They did not want people from an alien culture to come to their country and dominate them. They were a people who rejected an alien culture, and sought to defend their values, and preserve their homogenous culture and possession of all their territory. Jake Sully was an immigrant from an alien race and culture. But the Na'vi were ready to accept him, so long as he fully assimilated into Na'vi culture and values.

Any lessons that Americans can learn from the Na'vi? You betcha! We need to see America defending its Anglo-American culture, language, history, heritage, and traditions, in the same manner in which the Na'vi were willing to defend their culture. Immigration should be severely limited to that small number of foreigners who are willing to fully assimilate into America's Anglo-American culture.

Muslims who want to bring their Sharia values should be excluded. Mexicans who want bilingual education should be kept out, and we should only welcome those Mexicans who are here to learn English. We want One America - An America that continues the traditions that were established by the Colonial Pilgrims and pioneers, and by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madision, and all those Anglo-Americans who made this country what it is today.

The number of immigrants should also be kept small, so it is easy to assimilate them.

4. Those "Anglo" immigrants in the 16 and 1700's...
...should have "assimilated" into the Native American culture of the time.
Right, Pinochet?

6. Haw-haw. Too bad the founding fathers were all bilingual unlike
the turds who bring them up daily to support all kind of Un-American ideas. Why doesn't "pinochet" (surely not the same idiot) just come out and say "white?"

8. hmm ... the patriots were the ones determined to defend their culture, heritage,
values, language, religion, and territory.

So why was it that the "Indians" were always cast as the bad guys, against the "Union" (then Republican) soldiers?
