Why in the hell was Frank Luntz there today??

I thought it was a meeting between the President and the Republican caucus? Frank Luntz is not a Congressmen. He a frigging political hack. Why would the Republicans sit him right down front? Was Rush Limbaugh there also? Frank Luntz is the same guy that wrote the "Contract for America" back in '94.
It shows the Republicans entire intent was to try and make political hay out of the President's visit.
Their actions would gag a maggot.

In one of the previous presidential elections, he used his focus groups in the primaries. Turns out one of his stars from one state turned up as an Undecided focus group participant in another state two months later.

I didn't find the one I saw where he had the same guy appear as an "undecided" in two focus groups in different states. He does use some actors to move the discussion the way he's paid to move it.

12. I've seen Luntz close up for years

If he was there, he was probably makes copious notes on how to best use Obama's words against him for Republican
candidates ion the mid-terms this fall. From the sound of how it went down, it doesn't sound like Obama gave Luntz
a lot of ammunition. Luntz has probably forgotten what it was like to have a president who is at least as smart
as he is, and who remembers what happened the last time Luntz went up against a Democratic President in the mid-
term elections.

You can bet that whatever Luntz says and does has the ulterior motive of gathering propaganda ammunition against
Democrats. He has made himself many, many millions of Republican dollars doing it, and that is not an activity he
is about to give up any more than the Republicans are about to stop paying him for being so effective. The only way
to stop the flow of Republican money into the pockets of Frank Luntz is to deny him the results at the ballot box that
would continue to justify his fat fees.
