The party of who gives a rat's ass.

The let them eat cake party.

The party of taxes are for the little people.

-jim

The party of I don't want the smoking gun to be in the form of a mushroom cloud.

The party of shot them all and let God sort it out.

The party of despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary.

4. And the party of "We know our message and we are going to stick to it because
we know the Dems can't do that."

You have to admire in Repubs that they fight to win because they want to make the rules. And when they lose, they do everything they can to stop us from making the rules--and they know we care about the "process" and being "right", so it is easy to derail us. I wish we just wanted to win and make the rules.

3. Remember the Republicans on the Hill are much more conservative
than their constituents. Therefore the Repubs on the Hill
cannot be completely honest. They do not believe Health Care
should even be part of the Governments Function. However,
they have learned their middle class constituents believe
in SS and Medicare just like the rest of America. This puts
the Repubs in a position of having to appear concerned over
Health Care. Since they are the party of Big Business they
will produce measures which help business while making their
constituents believe they are looking out for them. First
smear anything the Dems might produce as socialism. Who
does Tort Reform protect.

Democratic Party should but do not always look out for the
Middle Working Class. They do better than Republicans.
A true Democratic Party would show a stark difference
between the two parties and would be in office for eons.
