Welp, I drew my line in the sand, and Obama has NOT crossed it...
which is most excellent, I must say. Some time ago, someone posted that is he extended the Bush tax cuts, that'd be it. I thought about it, and agreed. Leading up to the SOTU, I thought he was going to dial back the sunset rhetoric to aooease those spiteful, vindictive repigs, but it never happened. Meantime, some miracles occurred...

I started beating this drum when the writing was on the wall about the Mass election. It was sort of repetitive, and annoying, and it went something like this:

"We only need 51 votes for Health Care Reform, and you know it"

I changed it slightly a few times to read something like this, "We only need 50 votes, and Joe Biden's tie-breaker, and you know it"

The miracle that happened is that sometime after the Mass election, dems stared beating the same drum... we WILL get it done. We only need 51 votes...

Holy shit, it might be the beginning of some more cases of the red ass.

:woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm just sayin'...

2. Now, if only we could get Harry Reid to listen and heed.

3. Mother reminds that there hasn't been any ACTION yet, so
be optimistic, but hold off on the epiphany until his words are his deeds. I think that's fair, but I am lining up my 'epiphany arsenal just in case. :)
