Does anyone have any earthly idea how folks over there choose to screen remarks? Often pointless attacks on other users or things like, "OMFG Hahahaha lol lol" sail right through while thoughtful commentary never appears. Personally, I'd filter out the middle school cafeteria commentary first. Of course that would depend on the topic. Some are suited for or deserve it.

1. It seems like a free for all over there. |

I have seen important topics with thirty pages of inane, off topic drivel attached to them. I think that their mods are just overwhelmed. Anyone can join and post anything (except the usual threats and curse words) but if it's too long they drop it and sometimes they drop whole pages on a really hot topic.

4. There's a program that screens out worthless remarks |
|
I read about an add-on program you can download that automatically filters out internet discussion board comments that are full of mis-spellings and obscenities. The intent is that those postings typically say anything valuable.
