We had a draft during Vietnam and did we learn anything about how wrong it was to go to war , no , did we win the war , no .

So what will re-instating a draft now accomplish ?

Such it will involve more people and perhaps bring more to get involved but it did not end the vietnam war and it won't win this occupation either . What it will do is give troops a break from long tours .

1. Bush has thin and falling support for his Iraq policy now, and there'd be
still less support for any draft to support it.

Senator Reid is exactly right on Bush's Iraq war.

5. Would it include
men and women? If we have one it should include both.

7. For my part, I oppose women in the draft. I also oppose men in the draft.
That about sums up my position on the draft. Men, Women, and Children are all out.

9. Hey there, brer cat. I like your and my strategies for keeping our nation
out of war.

Mr. Bush is going to be a devastating personal, political, and historical price for his arrogance, I think.

I think he's in the Warren Harding/Richard Nixon category already -- and falling fast!
