I find it disturbing that I see dana walsh for Congress ads on DU to topple Nancy Pelosi
I have seen ads for carla fioronia(sic) also

Yes, if I sign in I don't see the ads, but if I don't sign in, why would ads for people who are the opposite of progressive thought be allowed to use the DU site as a forum to advertise against us?

It is just something that bothers me

2. Think of it this way...
You click on the disturbing ad, skinner gets a few pennies and the pol who posted the ad probably spent a buck.

3. I won't click on the ad, and I know it is for revenue, but isn't their a principle involved?
Even though they are most likely throwing their money away advertising here, it sure makes it seem that it is money over principle to me

5. To tell the truth I don't find it disturbing at all because I understand the concept.
Unfortunately, principles don't pay the bills, do they? If you have been here long enough you should understand about the ads and that this question comes up time and time again, year after year.

It doesn't bother me because the ads here are not accomplishing anything anyways.
