Revealing background info on GOP's Star Witness from Last Week (UPDATE)

In his formal statement to the House Republicans describes his union background, Worth and Co.’s Stephen Worth alleges that he witnessed a rock throwing incident he saw while on duty as a UA apprentice at age 19, 30 years ago.

We found out, from UA Local 690 that Stephen Worth was born on January 17, 1957 making him 53 years of age on the date of his testimony last week and age 23, not 19, thirty years ago. That's not a big deal on it’s own, however, he did not become a member of the UA until his initiation on August 31, 1979, when he was 22 years old – meaning he could not have been an apprentice assigned to picket duty thirty years ago.

The best part, however, is that after the alleged rock throwing event that he found so shocking and despicable, his reaction was to remain a member of the UA for an additional 13 consecutive years until his expulsion in 1992 for non payment of dues. At no time did he request a withdrawal card which he claimed to have done during his testimony.
