So in more than six years, bush will have used the veto 2 times:
Stem Cell Research (majority of the public supported)
Withdrawl and funding for Iraq and vets (majority of the public supports)

Given that many (outside DU and news/politics followers) understand that Bush has used an unconstitutional form of veto via signing statements directing the fed govt to ignore parts of laws he signed into law) this is what will be reported and "heard" again and again. The only times (so far) bush has vetoed legislation - in his entire time in office - is on issues that are supported by most of the public. He uses the Veto power to give the public and its interest a big middle finger "up yours". Courage of his Convictions or Arrogance of Power? That is the question per how the public will read it. I think, outside of the dwindling rw talk media listeners who still believe what they hear per Hannity, Limbaugh etc, it will be "read" as the latter.

I mean really how many of these "kids" with means have you ever talked to?most of them
couldn't tie their own shoes till junior high.
the only thing "no" ever meant to them was you can't cross the tracks.

2. While he had a puppet Congress, he got what ever he wanted
He didn't need the Veto stamp.
