Imus sidekick McGuirk tells Hannity & Colmes that Sharpton "terrorized" broadcast execs
TV Newser: Friday, Apr 27
McGuirk, On H&C, Says Sharpton "Terrorized Some Broadcast Executives"

Don Imus' former producer Bernard McGuirk, in his first interview since being fired, told Hannity & Colmes "that the radio exchange that got them both fired was wrong, but that it would be horrible if people could no longer poke fun at each other," the AP says.

Speaking about Rev. Al Sharpton, McGuirk said: "I mean, I think he terrorized -- it seemed like -- you know, I viewed it from the media perspective, from watching it on TV and reading the paper, as you guys did. It seemed like he terrorized some broadcast executives, that they were, you know, sort of in a fetal position under their desk, sucking their thumbs on their BlackBerries, trying to coordinate their response to him. And, you know, it just seemed that way. I mean, you know, I don't know exactly what went on, but it just seems that way."...

5. Did he call Sharpton "uppity?"
McGuirk reveals his true self by appearing on FOX. If he were trying to say he meant no harm, he'd have found a less racist place to do it.

2. In his own words McGuirk says he saw nothing and is just making stuff up
but the headline screams it as if it were the truth

MediaBistro is a good site but they are self-admittedly GOP.

3. Sharpton threatened to hijack a commercial aircraft and fly that plane
into the building where the broadcast execs worked?

8. That must be it! And that must mean that he also has WMDs...
Where is he hiding them?! In his mustache?! Or maybe in his hair... He's part of the "Axis of Evil!" (Dick Cheney swears that he met with Mohammad Atta in Prague...):scared: The scariest thing about Al Sharpton is his sharp wit, unlike this nit-wit's...:eyes:

4. Poke fun at "each other?"
He says it would be horrible if people could no longer poke fun at each other. How exactly was it that the Rutgers students were able to "poke fun" back at him? How were they having fun, for that matter? People can "poke fun at each other" when they are in the same room, or when they have an equal platform to communicate their "poking fun" kind of words.

But when a national television and radio show launches a racist slur against a group of students who in no way can fight back, much less "poke fun" back, no one is having fun except the racist attacker. People who have fun at other people's expense when they have no way to respond are called bullies.

Thank you, Al Sharpton. Needs to be said more.

7. Yah, yah... Poor innocent white folks are the victims of incessant reverse racism...
... White folks never get tired of saying it - presumably because they're talking primarily to other white folks, who are by definition inclined to agree. Neat little system.
