John at Americablog is so fun to read. I love the way he puts things.
This is his take on the latest of Bush's pretending to be a dictator.

enjoy. I especially love the last sentence.

5. Yes, but don't worry too much...
...because shortly after President Gore (are ya lissening, god? ya kinda owes us one, yanno...) uses THIS VERY EXECUTIVE ORDER to purge twenty-five years' worth of GOPpie moles and corporate shills from key Federal bureaucracies and fiat some MEANINGFUL regulation that has a chance of making sure our grandchildren have a habitable planet, Congress will pass legislation making sure no President ever does such a thing ever agin.

But in the mean time, I want the next Dem President (especially if it's someone who really knows the Federal bureaucracy, like... umm.... hmmmm... that guy, y'know, who used to work with Clinton, remember him?) to use every ounce of the Imperial Powers to clean up as much of the shitpile as fast as possible, and THEN let the horrified GOPpies in Congress yank those Imperial Powers away.

This could work for us.

optimistically,
Bright
