AIG May Need More Government Money
AIG Q4 Earnings: Insurer Lost $8.87 Billion, May Need More Government Money

The fourth-quarter results were an improvement from the $61.7 billion AIG lost in the year ago period, but they were worse than analysts expected. They also followed two straight profitable quarters.

The company reported a 2.2 percent drop in new premiums in its Chartis general insurance business, compared with a year earlier, and attributed the slide in part to the weak economy. It also had lower sales in its life insurance division.” Cont…

9. Enough, let them fail.
Until they stop rewarding themselves for failure. Sick and tired of bonus payments and other shit they don't deserve. I still can not understand the salaries these bastards get. Notice I wrtoe 'get' not 'earned'. WHO IS WORTH MILLIONS IN SALARY A YEAR??? Plus more in bonus money? NO ONE, that's who. imo.

:sarcasm:, if it really needs to be said.

Gee, I wish I could get a lottery a year no matter how good or bad I do in life. Hmmmmmmmm, why does THAT sound familiar . . . OH YES! It's the exact same thing the GOP says about poor or unfortunate people.

They say "W'aaall, if you have guaranteed income or entitlements, where's th' lazy bum's incentive to do any better??" Yet the CEO Runaway Salary/Bonus/Perk train regardless of performance is perfectly O.K. with them and they don't see the disconnect.

18. You nailed it with the last paragraph.
I can understand those who stand to lose would naturally gloss over this but, how do 'regular working republicans' justify this bullshit. I hate to say they're stupid but...

10. MIght they indeed.
We tell teenagers that in trade for an allowance for pizzas and films they are expected to take the trash out, keep their rooms tidy, and help with the dishes.

I say we draw up a chore chart for these high-rolling whores and make them stick to it.

21. In the words of Sen. Bunning (R-KY) as to extending UI:
"Tough sh*t"

That's the perfect response to AIG.

Let them go under.
Enough with these looters already.
