While this is going on there is a bill, introduced by the Florida Bankers ASSociation and sponsored by Sen. Michael Bennett (Fax [phone]) called "Florida Consumer Protection and Homeowner Credit Rehabilitation Act". There is also a similar and unsponsored bill coming in the House. UNSPONSORED! How cowardly!

Whoever named the bill plays fast and loose with the English language. This is a wolf in sheep's clothing which would change Florida's status to Non-Judicial and enable pretender-lenders to remove your Homestead and foreclose without even telling the homeowner! More homelessness and more FRAUD!

These bills must be stopped!
