Teabaggers think that "Teabagger" is an insulting term.
My good friend and former colleague C.D. Jaco, a progressive radio host in St. Louis, recently had an encounter with "Sharp Elbows", a despicable teabagger blogger. After being harassed by this creep for what seems like hours, Jaco accidentally bumped into the guy (they were in a large crowd of protesters). Jaco apologized but was later arrested and charged with disturbing the peace when the teabagger claimed he was assaulted.

See the video (submitted by "Sharp Elbows" as proof) and you be the judge.

1. Since when did they become so sensitive? They call others all kinds
of hateful names. I really do not think anyone is insulting
them.

3. Teabaggers called themselves teabaggers to start with
so the term is there and will NEVER go away.

They're teabaggers.

4. Holy FUCK! They finally figured out what it REALLY means!
Dang, it has only been how many months? How about the "I'm teabagging for Jesus" woman? I won't call them anything OTHER than "teabaggers", and never with an upper case "t".

5. Teabaggers should be tougher....
you know, they should be willing to "take it on the chin" (credit for that beauty goes to someone here who had that as a bumper sticker idea)

12. They came up with the name themselves.
Trinkets were being peddled outside the national teabaggers' convention in Nashville. One selection was a silver tea bag necklace. They picked the name teabaggers, now they can wear it, quite literally in this case. So fuck em.

17. I heard this on a call-in show couple of weeks ago - and found it funny
as it was this group that encouraged the members to send tea-bags to their reps and were wearing tea-bags attached to their hats.

19. Well, one thing they can be glad of...
most of them could tell the difference between tea bags and tampons, and the ones who couldn't just copied the others...
