5. They put our soldiers in their crosshairs and pick them off, one by one
Why couldn't we get rid of Rove? Or Buchanan? Or any of the other inapproprate liars who bully us from day to day?

Because, unlike conservatives, the liberal movement has no media strategy, and apparently is just fine with that.

9. Didn't she and Rahm both say they would be there only for a year or
so? Rahm did not move his family to DC because of this and Desiree has other stuff or so I was under the impression.

20. You post does not say that at all.
She says she is moving on. Yeah, we know that. Where is the link that says she and Rahm were only going to be there a "year or so"?

24. I found an interesting article on Salon regarding Desiree Rogers'
departure..

<snip>

"Technically, Rogers reports to the first lady, not to the president. But don't put it past conservative blogs or Fox News to use this departure as yet another sign that the White House is in great turmoil. After all, as the social office goes, so goes healthcare reform!"

http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/02/26/rogers

"She made it the People's House" and I can't wait to visit someday before I leave the East Coast. :)

26. Oh yeah..it's hard to get "news" that
doesn't manipulate and manufacture.

In this article it says the Secret Service took reponsibility for that but the wingers want to blame anything Obama.

10. Here's one story on it..looks pretty tame..
I knew it was Desiree Rogers..

"WASHINGTON--White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers told me Friday she will step down next month, after presiding over 330 events in the White House in 14 months.

Rogers is departing after achieving a major goal of President Obama and First Lady Michelle -- opening up the White House to make it the "peoples house."

"As we turn the corner on the first year," Rogers told me, "this is a good time for me to explore opportunities in the corporate world."

Rogers told me it has been "an honor and a privilege to serve this president and First Lady, in what has certainly been a historic presidency."

Rogers, a friend of the First Couple for years, was one of the first Obama administration appointees.

"When I took on this assignment, we talked about the importance of creating the people's house. My work was really to create this framework," she told me.

"I think I completed that work. Our office has been able to lay the foundation for what will be known as the 'people's house' and it has already taken shape."

18. MORE BREAKING NEWS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE!!!
The toilet in one of the upstairs guest suites is stopped up! There's water on the floor, and a foul stench in the air. A plumber has been dispatched to make repairs. The White House did not reveal if the Obama family was home at the time of the incident, nor is there any information available if they were not there because they were moved to a safe area.

More details as they become available...

27. If anybody watched Nightline; it was a disgrace as well, the guy on the bike was good, and I know
there has been a lot of snow this winter, but they gave about 10-15 seconds coverage of the health care conference, the passion from the political leaders and their major points regarding this critical issue; which affects tens of millions of Americans never existed.

If you wanted to know what Durbin or others had to say, forget Nightline; they're not worth a flying shit.

The only thing they showed was the closing argument segment with a brief clip by President Obama and John Mccain about the election being over.

I believe the corporate media truly does want the American People to remain ignorant.

Thanks for the thread, spanone.
