Venezuela's worst drought in decades has brought to the surface a submerged village

The Andean town of Potosi had around 1,200 inhabitants but was evacuated and its residents dispersed to create the Uribante reservoir that now feeds a hydroelectric dam.

But the dry spell has revealed eerie remnants: the church, demolished houses, a cemetery, a square.

Normally only the church spire can be seen sticking out of the 20-square-km reservoir.

9. It's been uncovered long enough for grass to grow where she's walking

or, to be precise, for it to grow badly exactly where she is (an old foundation, I guess) and well a few feet away. I think this has not been exposed recently.
