These Girl Scout cookies aren’t so sweet.

Little Brownie Bakers, makers of the addictive little treats, are recalling batches of Lemon Chalet Crèmes cookies.

The recall was prompted by complaints that the cookies had an off-taste and odd smell.

According to a press release on their Web site, the Louisville, Kentucky-based company found no traces of bacteria.

“Certain lots of Lemon Chalet Crème cookies contain oils that may be breaking down which can result in an off taste and smell,” the statement said. “We determined that while the cookies are safe for consumers to eat, they are not up to our quality standards.”

No other Girl Scout cookies, including favorites like Trefoils, Thin Mints and Do-Si-Dos, were affected.

Customers affected by the recall can get more information by calling 1-800-962-1718.

3. I knew it! Those cute little creeps have been trying to poison us!
Or addict the entire country. At lease they didn't recall the chocolate mint thingies.

4. While I support groups like the Girl Scouts
4 bucks for 12 cookies is too expensive.

14. I pay $3.50/box for far more than 12 Thin Mints. And I'm more than happy to help the Girl Scouts.
It's a great organization, and there are some really impressive young women organizing some of these sales (in our area, they do a "drive through" type service in a church lot.)

t's a win-win for everyone but my dietitian!

9. Oh my GOD; I just ate a whole box of those rotten tasting cookies.
Wonder if My personal injury attorney is up for suing the Girl Scouts?

16. Had to make sure it wasn't just my imagination.
It wasn't. I knew it tasted like some phony chinese melamine lemon filling.

I love the taste of outdated food. NOT! I wonder if they had meal worms in them too?

15. Is the problem with the floor mats or the electronics?
Or is the resealable box top sticking?
