About to be Homeless Person Just Knocked At The Door.... It is tough out there.

Asking to do any kind of work to raise part or all of $60.00 he needs to pay his room rent by tonight or he is out on the street --and we are looking at subfreezing temps and snow tomorrow.

I don't know if his story is true, but he is not the first person to knock at our door with a similar story.

Look under the bridges and on ramp interchanges and you have a good chance of spotting the homeless.

The agencies trying to help the homeless here are low on food and beds.

I just wonder .... do you think that some of our million dollar bonus baby CEOs on Wall Street give a hoot about these people?

1. Man, I wish he'd stop my my place. There's still some tough

snow removal chores I need to get done. I could use some help, and I think there's a $20 in my wallet.

2. Have to give him credit... he is trying to 'earn' $$ he needs to escape being homeless...

Which you would think would warm the hearts of Republicans, right?

If I had to guess they would classify him as 'self employed' and not worthy of government benefits.
