Government contracts should require that at least 67% |
|
of materials and labor used for the contract are sourced locally within the US.
And the labor component cannot be satisfied by H-1B employees since I wouldn't consider that locally sourced

my school building is 15% more expensive than it could have been without that rule. Because as it is, *I* get to take the blame for not bidding properly or for overexpending taxpayer dollars or some such. If I had some help, it would work a lot better.

But I think many of us would prefer to invest our tax dollars within the US rather than abroad. Liz
