Repubs can get away with "tough shit", because that's the "new" American attitude

Seriously, since the election of St. Ronnie, the "effing" top 5% in this country have been pissing on the rest of us and telling us; "it's not piss, it's trickle down"...and nobody gives a shit, as long as they are not the one's affected.

"Tough Shit" has become the new rule to live by for too many Americans. Too many just don't give a rats ass about their fellow Americans, and Repubs and their allies in Faux News and hate radio have convinced too many Americans that "tough shit" was the Founding Fathers intent. Great examples of this country coming together, and the standard of one generation trying to make the place better, or at least as competitive and fair for the next generation have been replaced by "tough shit". We should update the quotes in our history and government texts.

"We have nothing to fear...tough shit!" - FDR

"Ask not what your country can do for you...tough shit!" JFK

"I have a dream...tough shit!" - MLK

Repubs will continue to do the stuff that they do because they do not pay a price at the polls. If anything, looking at the current polls, they are rewarded for their actions.

They are rewarded because too many Americans have adopted the philosophy of "tough shit!"

When they have achieved their goal of drowning government in the bathtub, a government that is "us", they'll look at the devastation of a once powerful and prosperous nation and wonder what happened. At that time, we'll be able to reply; "tough shit!".

Problem is that will be too late.

Seems to me it doesn't matter how many tax breaks you get to "trickle down" crap, if people don't have money to buy your crap, you're going to fail.

Try to run a business when public schooling is not available to produce a competent workforce.

Try to protect your property when there are no police around to protect it.
