1. A little more info would have been nice

2. Lamar was talking about how unfair it would be for the Dems to use reconciliation to pass HCR and
Maura illustrated examples of the repugs using the same tactic. Brought him up short.

3. Too bad Mara is generally a tool of the right.
But I'll take small gestures when I can get them. You should have heard her this morning on WNYC's Brian Lehrer Show defending Jim Bunning's position re: the $10 bln...

4. OK to point these things out,
but IMO she just proves the broken clock rule.

5. And Mitt Romney was on a program on one of my local NPR stations today.
Edited on Wed Mar-03-10 06:55 PM by geckosfeet
I would not go as far as saying that she called him out. He streamed so much republican bullshit that there was no way she could even get close to calling him out. She simply pointed out, when he said the American people were against health care reform, that there are studies that show American are FOR various provisions in the bill.

It astounds me that NPR lets these liars run free on their air.

Full Romney and Alexander interviews today. And a highly edited sound bite from the the presidents speech. NPR is at it again.

6. I stood in front of the radio just stunned when Mitt said free health care
is available to anybody who wants it. All you have to do is go to your local emergency room and you'll get free health care because hospitals are required to give free health care to anyone who asks for it.

Leaving aside the people who die while waiting in emergency waiting rooms, does he really think this care is "free" and nobody has to pay the nurses and doctors who provide it?

I can't imagine living in a world as simple as Mitt's is.
