Replace Grant's picture on a $50 bill with Ronald Reagan???

AOL news has a story that Congressman Patrick McHenry, (R. North Carolina), wants to put Reagan's picture on the $50 bill. (Here's the link.)

If Republicans ever again control the White House and the congress, we'll probably see Nixon on the $5 bill, W on the $10 bill and Herbert Hoover on the dime.

What's wrong with these people?

but you can bet Ronnie's picture would not pass through my hands unaltered.

At least they're not trying to put the old fraud on something we actually use.

In any case, since $50 now buys what $5 bought at the start of his miserable 8 years, the amount is just about right. However, the only things I want that prick's ugly face on are foreclosure notices and bad checks.

Best just to leave it all alone. Reagan will get his mug on a Presidential $1 coin in 2016. His hagiographers will just have to live with the anticipation, same as the rest of us live with the dread.
