they don't like primaries and it exists primarily to enforce discipline for the leadership. Give money directly. In this internet age, it isn't really necessary to give them money anymore.

5. Sort of an all or nothing framework you propose, but my 2 cents - |
|
I support them as one function for having a voice in the party. The DCCC has the means and the where-with-all to get out a message, make news, and - yes - focus member donations to specific candidates.
That's their job. Our job is being a part of the process.

10. Stopped giving to them |

and the DSCC. Give directly to a candidate, moveon or DFA etc. The DCCC supports candidates that can fund themselves partially at least and many are corporately owned.

15. You don't have to fund the DCCC or the DSCC to have your voice heard, imho. |
|
They both have feedback functions on the national website and local reps to contact. I suggest we all do so. Big money remains a bugaboo, yet democracy remains a participatory endeavor across the board.

11. Ain't that the group that goes around mutilatin' squirrels? |
|
(obscure Seinfeld reference).
Seriously that's the organization that Rahm Emanuel used to head up and how he got all them friggin Blue Dog asswipes into Congress that are now trying their damnedest to screw up health care reform.
I guess it's alright now that Emanuel is no longer involved with it. That douchebag has the Midas touch in reverse.

They will happily give your money to anti-choice, anti-union, anti-gay conservative Dems if they think it will win them the seat.
Not for me, thank you veery much.
