2. I don't like him but I admire his work
He "sells" the Democratic party to the independents.

And he does a good job of it.

4. Why did you start this poll?
There's about 5 people here who slam him... but probably NEVER listen to him!

14. I started it precisely because of that talking point you just spewed
Got me thinking...

I keep seeing it, and being one who listens all the time but still hates him, I figured there just might be more like me out there.

19. That talking point wasn't spewed, it was a "cut and paste"
I can't stand the way he sells himself as the leading Progressive on Talk radio. He doesn't research a thing. he just comes to those opinions after his call-ins straighted him out.

6. Need another option
I listen to him sometimes, but have no qualms about turning off the radio when he gets annoying.

11. ditto....
I understand his appeal in the Upper Mountain West and that's certainly not a bad thing.... I often cringe, though, at his positions.... Very DLC.... Other times, he comes across as a very level-headed guy, so

but backed off when he saw the asshole's true colors.

10. He is the leading
talking head for Democrats. He has the magnet to get the Beltway interviews and the respect from them................They all listen to Ed Schultz. He has the formula.

I adore him myself! O8)

12. I would love to like him more than i do. Sad to say, he sounds like a moderate-liberal version
of Bill'O to me <duck>. Ed tries too hard to project an "i'm looking out for the common guy" image but just comes across as an anti-intellectual blowhard.

13. He's ok. I agree sometimes, other times I disagree.
unlike the rethugs, we're not cookie-cutters. He appeals to some and not others. Even though I don't always agree, I like hearing how he thinks, it allows me to understand other thought processes.

17. I find his act revolting
he is carnival barker who could just as easily switch to selling Republican or used cars or vacuums. I think its and act and that he is not sincere.

20. I wonder about that too
His show is so old school formulaic. Unlike Randi Rhodes, he leaves me wondering if he truly believes with his heart what he is saying or if he thinks it's the opinion that will win him the most Arbitron points.

24. I found his insight re Hillary to be interesting today
He said that when he's met her, she's been personable. But her staff is arrogant, and downright rude at times.

That sounds about right. I've seen their arrogance.
