I have a winger claiming Obama has dissed Winston Churchill and it seems to indicate a bust of Mr. Courvoisier was returned to Britain from the White House. I do recall Littleboots having a bust of Churchill as part of his 'wartime' PR schtick.
Anybody know what's really going on? Thanks for the clues.

1. Seeing that Churchill's government had his Grandfather tortured |
|
I could see the President removing the bust.

2. This was when Obama was first elected, |
|
and moved Bush's ornaments out of the oval office to put his own in.
Since the Churchil bust was on loan to Bush, it went back to the UK.

3. Obama just handed the Churchill bust and sent it to the British Embassy. |
|
He should have sent it back on the USS Winston Churchill.

4. Churchill bust loaned to GW. Obama replaced it with bust of Abe Lincoln. |

Wingers have a problem with a bust of an American President, rather than a British Prime Minister, in the Oval Office?
