Change machine seems broken - I followed the instructions and

fed in a bunch of bills. That part seemed to work OK. It whirred and shuddered and some lights flashed.

After a few minutes of this, there were a few puffs of blue smoke and it just sort of shut down.

I checked to make sure it was plugged in, checked the fuse, its getting power.

Seems jammed - has anyone phoned this in to the manufacturer?

Looks brand new, hardly been used. I hope the warranty is still good after a year.
