When any chance at a public option failed... |
|
...and a Medicare buy-in at 55 was dropped, then that is when stock prices rose in the health sector and the Bill's popularity dropped in the public eye.
Am I wrong?

result of the DLC and the Blue Dogs. These people do not represent my interests and of those I talk to few are impressed with them. I am so frustrated with all of this crap.

3. The Blue Dogs don't even represent their own interests. They love getting duped. |
|
The DLC wants to outblow more corporate head than the Republicans.

Bribed. Hell yeah, the Blue Dogs represent their own interests. They get greased while in power and hired into golden sinecures when they leave office. It's all about them.

8. I really can't tell much between them and the republicans. As one of my friends |
|
was saying, we might be better off locally with a republican than a Blue Dog because at least you probably know where they are coming from. The Blue Dogs tell you one thing and then do something else to appease their corporate masters. The republicans do the same, but they don't build you up and let you down. I'm so F'en tired of these Blue Dogs going around calling themselves democrats.

12. Yeah, the BD politicians are out to get theirs. I was referring to the BD voter voting against their |
|
interests. But, who am I to cast stones? I've voted for Obama many times. Blago too.

5. What caused the stock to fall a few days ago? I'm not disagreeing with you |
|
but I'm wondering what news made the insurance company investors unhappy. That's always sign of hope for us, IMO.

"Analysts" try to attribute reasons for it, but the biggest reason is that investing is nothing but a gambler's game.

11. Watching Blagojovetch on C Span the other night |

I couldn't help but think that at least he was HONEST about how he wanted great monies in exchange for his actions. Most of our elected politicians get the bribes - but since the payments are not expressed in terms of huge suitcases bulging with money, but instead with a promise of a life time tenured job at "Big Monied Industry of Your Choice," we fail to see much of the corruption.
Look at how both Bush Sr and Bill Clinton have the monies from all their "Charity" works in payment for their helping NAFTA along.
