Palin On Her Palm Notes: God Did It Too

When Sarah Palin wrote a few notes on her hand during her speech to a tea party convention last month, she was ridiculed by bloggers, comedians and White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. This weekend, she defended the notes at an Ohio pro-life fund-raiser, saying she was in good company.

A fan, she said, had sent her a biblical passage. Isaiah 49:16 reads: "See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me."

"Hey, if it was good enough for God, scribbling on the palm of his hand, it's good enough for me, for us. He says, in that passage he says, I wrote your name on the palm of my hand to remember you. And I'm like OK, I'm in good company," Palin said to laughter.

During her tea party convention speech, Palin had dismissed President Obama as a "charismatic guy with a teleprompter."

Very deep statement...have to remember this one when I get infuriated with people at church for being self righteous! Which of course will make me look self righteous...dang it just goes on and on doesn't it? I noticed that people like Palin aka Republicans ... go about their business as if they or their families never make mistakes or do anything wrong all the while pointing their fingers at everyone else...I just have to wonder what God is really thinking when these so called christians who are so wrapped up in themselves use the name of God or Jesus they make it into a 4 letter word. As one of the faithful I have to say keep God out of politics its much to filthy for God to be involved in! Don't ya think?

and those who devoured you will be far away."



I suppose if ruin and desolation were good enough for the Israelites then it is good enough for Americans.
