1. It doesn't really matter to Palin any longer.

She's no longer running for anything. Her new plan is to become a celebrity and make her living that way. So, she can say any damn thing she wants, now. She'll have her variety show, "Sarah Does Saskatchewan" or whatever, and make the million a year she needs to live in the manner to which she'd like to become accustomed.

She'll never run for public office again. She'll just speak and pose and do TV. She's finished, politically.
