Update on Du'er Bonobo's Mom - she passed away Friday:

My mother passed away on Friday, March 5th 12:44 PM. Thanks for all the kind thoughts, prayers and wishes. She passed peacefully after a brave struggle and surrounded by an enormous amount of loved ones.

Thanks to all who have wished him well over this difficult period. I didn't see this posted by him or elsewhere (if so I apologize for missing it).

I believe I would be having an easier time if it was me dying rather than her. My deepest condolences to him and his family it is so hard to lose a parent. Mine is dying from colon cancer and has just days if not hours left.

My mother passed from colon cancer five years ago. I know how difficult it is. I wasn't brave enough to be there right at the end though. I hope your mother's passing is peaceful and she's surrounded by family.
