He was, I believe, in one film, the musical The Wiz (I'm not talking about video compilations of his music or docs about him). She was in The Apostle, Cannonball Run, Extremities, Man of the House, Dr. T and His Women.

She was also married to Lee Majors and then lived with Ryan O'Neal for many years, both big film actors. Maybe that doesn't count, but it sure makes her part of Hollywood, together with her own film career. They really don't have an excuse on this one, seeing that they put Michael Jackson in there.

They could have flashed her photo for two seconds, imo.

Shame on the Academy Awards to ignore her. She was a hard working, accomplished, and loved actress and she SHOULD HAVE BEEN recognized. They made a terrible mistake.

She stared in the movie Extremities...I remember that one and she was nominated for a Golden
Globe for it. I think she won!

that Bea Arthur and Farrah Faucett were both left out. I also heard on one that when they checked with the Academy, they said they weren't omitted, they just could name everyone. I thought that was a very lame cya.
