Orly Taitz Slings Mud at Republican Opponent for Secretary of State

While we weren't able to attend Dr. Orly Taitz's speech regarding "The Truth About Election Fraud" to the Orange County Federation of Republican Women today, we were, as always, able to read Taitz's blog (we've got good virus protection on our computers at the Weekly).

Lately, the Laguna Niguel dentist who loves suing Obama has been rallying her supporters to help her win the Republican nomination for California Secretary of State.

One problem: There's already a Republican who has been running for a few months now. His name is Damon Dunn, he's from Irvine, and Taitz doesn't like him.

In recent days, Taitz has announced that she filed the inital paperwork signaling an intention to run for office, blasted Dunn as a "Republican in name only" (because he doesn't care about "eligibility"), and called on supporters to lobby Dunn to stop running.

I am somewhat surprised that the maintstream media is keeping a lid on the fact that birther Orly Taitz is the most visible and well known Republican candidate for Secretary of State in California. I have never even heard of Dunn, which just goes to show just how extreme the Republican party is in California when the Republican candidate with the most name recognize for a statewide office is Orly Taitz.

P.S. California: NO ONE like taxes. However, schools, libraries, police, firefighters, etc. do cost money and costs rise almost every year. So vote a tax increase every couple of decades or so.

I'd hoped she wouldn't just drop off the map entirely. She's far too entertaining to let go to waste. Now we just have to hope the Teabaggers throw their full might behind her and watch the ensuing hilarity. Plus we get to watch the rest of the Republicans scramble like roaches at the first sign of a light to distance themselves from her.

Of course there's the chance she'll actually win something somewhere, but as insane as she is she won't keep it long. She's an entirely different kind of crazy than people like Palin. Palin is fascist religious fanatic crazy. Orly is "Kill the guy that works at the BP station for bugging your fillings so the evil overlords of Alpha Centauri know your secret thoughts" crazy.
