HCR – ever get really tired of the debate? |
I reached a point today where I’m sick of trying to reason health care reform with a *libertarian* (her claim but I see thru the smokescreen) friend. :banghead: I’ve decided her arguments are getting more outrageous by the day and I’m wasting brain energy and time on her. She can say and think all the BS she wants. *slaughter solution* was the last straw for me. I’m done with it. It feels wrong to just want to stick with like-minded people but the morans need to be mowed over. And that goes beyond my own personal experience. In the bigger picture, I can’t wait to get to the next phase.

1. I stopped debating my conservative parents about 6 months ago. Waste of time and energy. |
it does nothing but make me frustrated. Some people don't want an honest debate, they just want to reinforce their own beliefs without having to think about it. Love my parents, but I decided just to avoid political talk altogether with them.

3. I am way tired of elected Dems lying about it and sidestepping real debate |
there is no excuse in the polls or in the merits of the policy choices they are making, so they shut those out of the debate who would make that more painfully obvious than it already is. I get sick of hearing them pat themselves on the back for selling us out.

We get 40 Senators to sign on to a public option and now asshole Durbin, supposedly our guy, is telling the progressives on the list they won't get a vote on the public option. I am sick of this whole thing. The fix is in for insurance companies to continue their ways without affordable care and we continue to get screwed.
