the bill first. I told him that he could see the door coming if he doesn't step up for this, damned twit. AND I KNEW THEM PERSONALLY!

24. Thank you. We aren't asking Senators to promise...

...to vote for a bill regardless of the specifics.

We're only asking them to say that they support the idea of passing a public option via reconciliation.

7. Mother of god.
Both of mine. I called and emailed them both last week.

Did I just dream that we had an election in 2008? That we had huge majorities? That we were riding a tide of 'change' and 'hope'?

Nothing changes, except the little letter next to their names goes from an 'r' to a 'd'. If it wasn't for that, I swear I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

14. Not mine! I have real Democrats.
I assume these are the Senators of lazy distracted Democrats who are too busy posting attacks on Dennis Kucinich to elect anyone good, or to influence those hacks they did elect.

16. I've already e-mailed and phoned Kay Hagan's office with the message that
if she didn't support this, she would lose my vote. (I lived in NC and voted for her so although she's not my current Senator, I feel I have the right). I'm going to call her right now and say she has indeed lost it, and I will support and contribute to anyone who challenges her.

17. Wait -- have they said they are not going to support it, or have they just not
signed the letter? I've heard Harkin won't sign, but he'll vote for it.

Just called Kay Hagan's office and the response was "she has not given a statement, but in the past she has voted for a strong public option"

AND -- I don't think it matters at this point about signing the letter, Reid has told McConnell that we're going ahead with Reconciliation.

25. These are Senators who didn't sign the letter and didn't make statements that they...
...support passing the public option with reconciliation.

A Senator who has said repeatedly that she supports the public option, but hasn't said that she supports passing it with reconciliation, would be on the list.

19. My Senators are Dodd and You Know Who...Dodd has just this week signed on.
I had contacted his Hartford office a couple of weeks ago and got an indefinite response. Didn't bother with Joe, of course...I don't think I could keep from losing it if I did...

20. Rec! Keep the pressure on! Thanks for posting this!
I'm assuming Bayh, Conrad, Nelson (NE), Lincoln, Landrieu to be "No" but there's quite a few there who could respond to some encouragement.
