CNN is reporting that the driver of the semi (!) who rear-ended the Reids |
|
has been charged with negligent driving.
Reid was at the hospital, came back to the Hill (which is positive) and has now headed back to the hospital.

5. He was from out of state (Ohio?). He forced their car into the one ahead, and |
|
I think THAT car in turn rear-ended the one it was behind.
It was on I-95 -- don't know if it was on a long stretch or in a congested area.

2. Continuing... CNN is speaking to a doctor now, says she might not even need |
|
a body cast. Some people will stop experiencing pain within a few days, others it takes longer. It's a very individual thing.
But again, it sounds as though it's VERY good news, considering!

7. Thank goodness they are alive. Wonder who the driver was? Should be charged with more than that. |

12. Not knowing she was Reid's wife, but do you think he just ran into |
|
on purpose because they wouldn't move out of his way. I was on the beltway heading toward Ft. Washington and it was rush hour traffic. Crowded as all get out. I was keeping up with traffic doing at least 75. When suddenly a truck changed lanes when he got an opening and traffic tightened up. He started to inch closer and lay on that fog horn of his. I kept giving him hand signals where in the hell can I go. Cars on the right, cars on the left and in front of me. I DIDN'T THINK BUT I COULD HAVE GOTTEN HIS TAG NUMBER AND GIVEN IT TO THE POLICE WHO WORKED AT MY OFFICE. I think he would have ran over me if he could.
