Does anybody here have LINK TV.......
If not, check your upper channels. It's one of the best finds I've come across.

Great documentaries 24/7 with no commercials. Progressive tv that exposes FUX and Rupert Murdoch, and regularly airs excellent documentaries from all across the world.

It's worth while tv.

8. Dish offers both link and fstv
and the owner of dish actually either founded fstv or is a big donor. I forget his name..he started ecohstar the predecessor of dish iirc.We don't even have a land line here.
We have dish where we are we cannot get cable..if we could it would be Comcast. We have to have internet for partners job(s) and have to get the dish to get internet via wild blue. It is a bit expensive, but we don't go out to dinner or movies. We would have to drive 45 miles to see movies that were not the small town far we could find locally only 20miles away.

9. AND DISH's customer service has been much better than the other
providers -- so far, anyway.

14. It was a nice surprise after being abused by DirecTv for five years. lol.

Free Speech TeeVee has Amy, Laura and Thom on every morning and GayUSA when it comes out, then reruns. That's worth the price of admission right there.

LINK does more international material and that's really cool after all the incessant cable chatter about domestic banalities.

5. Yes, LINK, Free Speech, Documentary Ch., Current, Sundance, BBCA, all great.
I hardly watch MSNBC anymore.

CNN, only for shits and giggles and, hell, breaking news I can get here or online quicker than them.

It may or may not be on your regular viewing schedule, but comcast or direct tv might have it.

It's must watch TV.

12. It's addicting. Their Middle East news round up, Mosaic, is invaluable.
They air documentaries that are hard to find -- I checked NetFlix to see if they had "Darling: The Pieter Dirk Uys Story" and, nope, they don't. And of course, Amy Goodman's show is the gold standard for real journalism.

Link manages to be progressive without being ideological, which is difficult, imho. After you watch Link and FSTV, regular cable shows are too annoying to bother with.

11. No Link. Sundance & Green are available, but
I don't carry that tier. I am happy that my cable company finally added C-SPAN-3. I called and wrote them enough, but I suspect there were plenty like me that wanted it too. I just noticed they added quite a few more religious channels on the upper tier, as well. There seems to be more than enough on the lower tiers.

I've been meaning to call and request Link; guess I'll do that tomorrow.
