Perhaps it is because the groupthink around DU is so strong on this issue that any criticism of Saint Kucinich is automatically flamebait.

I call him Saint Kucinich not as a criticism of the man; from what I can tell he has a somewhat high opinion of himself, but you kind of have to to be a politician - certainly there are others who are far more egotistical and mission driven than him. I call him that because of how his supporters here at DU are seemingly unable to deal with any criticism of him.

By the way, I had my own Kucinch thread locked too, and it was in support of Kucinich. I'll admit it was a fiery support and deserved to be locked.
