Corporation Running for Congress Following Supreme Court Ruling

WASHINGTON - March 15 - On Saturday, the Washington Post published a front-page story about the corporation Murray Hill running for Congress: "After the Supreme Court declared that corporations have the same rights as individuals when it comes to funding political campaigns, the self-described progressive firm took what it considers the next logical step: declaring for office.

"'Until now, corporate interests had to rely on campaign contributions and influence-peddling to achieve their goals in Washington,' the candidate, who was unavailable for an interview, said in a statement. 'But thanks to an enlightened Supreme Court, now we can eliminate the middle-man and run for office ourselves.'

"William Klein, a 'hired gun' who has been enlisted as Murray Hill's campaign manager, said the firm appears to be the first 'corporate person' to run for office and is promising a spirited campaign that 'puts people second, or even third.'"

Klein is Murray Hill's campaign manager; Hensal is its "designated human" representative.

5. Very good comeback to the claimed age disability!
Although you can enter in enforceable contracts years earlier than you can be elected to a House seat.

6. I believe there are age requirements written in the Constitution for holding Office
I am not talking about being of Legal Majority or being a Minor. I am talking about what the Constitution says are the requirements for holding Office.

3. I think we should form a corporation
to amend the Constitution to more readily remove Justices of the Supreme Court when they are idiots such as saying corporations have the same rights as people (without of course the same risks as people)

8. Sharks Going For The Chum...
I was reading in my broadcasting newsletters how the corporates are salivating at all the extra money they're expecting now that corporations can spend as much as they want. A good example is a report of nearly $1 million a day being spent on the cables this week as the health care game crescendos. Foreign money is as green as anyones...Rupert sure loves his Saudi Arabian pipeline...and now that our political process is for sale, the list of buyers and sellers will be far and wide.

It won't be until candidates who get these big bucks are beaten that some sanity may return to the campaing cesspool, but that doesn't seem likely.

:hi:
