Two headlines jumped out at me as I got my morning paper

First: "Thousands face furloughs; schools may lose millions"

and Secondly: "FCC plan would greatly expand broadband Internet connections" and read, "The Federal Communications Commission announced on Monday its long-awaited plan to bring broadband Internet connections to every home and business in the United States, part of an ambitious, multibillion-dollar attempt to create a new digital infrastructure for the nation's economy."


WTF? What good will giving the disadvantaged the ability to digitally shop do to help anything? Pathetic. Hope the FCC is getting their budget cut today.
