and gas producers use a certain percentage of spot market oil in production as well as contract oil. When the spot market price drops, they sell gas more cheaply. When too much money is chasing commodities futures, as is the case in any economy with too much concentrated wealth, then all hell breaks loose at the pump.

Expect it to happen with food and other commodities, too, as wealth seeks the next bubble to create and exploit.

And honestly, I work 6 miles from home. I get to work in 10 minutes. If I had to rely on the bus or the train it would be a 45 minute or longer commute.

It is a fact told to me by the owner of quiet a few oil wells. Well pumps are turned off under the cover of 'being repaired' when more profit is needed. We are being raped by the corporation. Oil will run out but not as soon as you think. Everywhere you look geologists have a different opinion on when the supply will be dried up.
