It's incredible what Obama can get done when he wants it. When they pulled out all the stops to get Bernake confirmed to head the criminal Fed again I thought, if only they would put so much effort into single payer health care. But no, if it's good for the peasants it's off the table! Now they've brought the full weight of the presidency down on the one person who was standing up for the American people. I'm rapidly losing hope for our nation.

13. his grandstanding has given US an excellent opportunity to speak

some uncomfortable truths to the public-

that this isn't about socialism

that this is about the health of ourselves and our neighbors

that we need reform AND access to health care desperately

that the "politicization" of this issue is hurting everyone.

I really appreciate his words today- and his explaining his position to the country.
