didn't the governor of Hawaii, a Repug, try to tell people that the birth certificate is valid?

And who is allowed to carry around, or even possess, their original birth certificate? I thought that the originals were in some government office, and that you are only allowed certified "copies" ...

Be interesting to see what language McCain's birth certificate was in ... but that really never became part of the national agenda. How about anchor-baby Pee-yewwww Jindal's?

and a certifed copy is its legal equivalent in any court in the land. PERIOD.
